Music is our first teacher.

Everyone can benefit from musical instruction at any age.  Children learn unconsciously without knowing it.  Older beginner can participate more in the instructional process and understand the purpose of each practice method.  The Talent Education Center offers instruction at every developmental level from Preschool through high school and adults.  Instruction is age-appropriate, based on the needs of the developmental needs of each student.

Babies:

Ms. Cynthia has taught Kindermusik for babies and toddlers in the past.  She encourages new parents to play music for their babies and sing to them.  We now know that babies are already processing language as music at birth.  Listening opens the door to musical study.  Ms. Cynthia suspects that music plays a significant role in the software of the brain.  Recent research has shown that infant development is influenced by exposure to rhythm in their environments.  If you have any questions about how to get started she has lots of suggestions for new parents.  Please feel free to consult her.
